Ethical Impact

Social Responsibility

Jangro are committed to the highest standards of quality, integrity, fairness and supply chain transparency.

The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain is the responsibility of all Jangro employees, our anti-modern slavery policy can be found here.

To consolidate and level out our ethical standards amongst our depots and suppliers, we require suppliers and depots to produce anti-modern slavery policy documents. We have also rolled out questionnaires to assess where Jangro depots are in their ESG strategies and how we can prompt action to consolidate a mutual and consistent approach to our ESG goals as a group.

We commit to supporting the community and good causes through volunteering and fundraisers. Over the last few years, we have raised over £100,000 for Macmillan, and thousands of pounds for the Trussell Trust, as well as donating regular food donations. To enhance this support, we also provide head office staff with a gift and gain day to support a community group or charity of their choice.

Our staff are an extension of who we are as a company, which is why we see the importance of ensuring that their wellbeing is something that we value.

Trussell Trust

The Trussell Trust rely on the generous support of individuals to be able to deliver their vital work. They're working to build a future where everyone can afford the essentials. Not a simple task, but it can be done.

If we're to reach a future where no one needs a food bank, we need to make sure everyone currently in crisis can access the best possible support while we work on the long-term to tackle the structural issues that push people into needing a food bank in the first place. In the UK, more than 14 million poeple are living in poverty - including 4.5 million children. Please visit our JustGiving page by clicking the 'Donate Now' link.
